
Rubeena Sandhu is a Waldorf educator, mentor, school consultant, and adult educator with over twenty years of experience supporting learning and development across the lifespan. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and School Counselling and currently practices as a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Duncan, British Columbia.
Rubeena served on the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America Leadership Council from 2018–2025 and currently volunteers as President of the Anthroposophical Society in Canada.
Her private practice, Havenwood, is closely associated with the New Adult Learning Institute, with a focus on adult development and the cultivation of inner capacities, healing, and transformation that support conscious participation in professional, personal, and community life.
At the New Adult Learning Institute, Rubeena co-developed Grounded in Practice, a contemporary Waldorf Foundation Year program that brings new adult learning processes into practical, developmentally attuned classroom and mentoring contexts.
Future offerings include New Adult Learning programs for personal and biographical development within a therapeutic context, integrating neuro-affective and trauma-informed research with anthroposophical insight.
