Class of 2016/18

New Adult Educator 2016/18

The NAE Class of 2016/8 was group of six students that has had one foot in Canada and one foot in China.  They began their program at the cottage in Parry Sound, Ontario, like many other groups, and ended with the final week in Chengdu, China.  It was exciting to work with this group and it felt that new possibilities has opened for the New Adult Learning Movement.

The group came together at the interest of Harry Huang, co-founder of the Chengdu Waldorf School, the first Waldorf School in China.  Harry and Arlene Thorn  sat together at the cottage in the summer of 2015 and discussed his interest in deepening Waldorf education and on a program that reached into karma.
